- Customized Training
- Training Courses and Other Program Information
- On-the-Job Training Services
- Rapid Response Pre-Layoff Orientation
Business Development Workshops & Assistance:
Information provided and services by the Los Angeles City and Los Angeles County Business Development Teams, VEDC/SBDA, Valley College, and SBA.
Retention Assistance:
- Short-term financial assistance to newly hired workers for transportation, minor medical care, necessary uniforms, and/or work tools.
- Workers enrollment in education and training courses including those to improve English proficiency or other work-based basic skills.
- Referral of employers and workers to a full range of social, health and other services.
Tax Credit Information:
- Work Opportunity Tax Credit Program offered by the State of California Employment Development Department.
